Scale Formation

Will scale form? Because air source heat pump water heaters use a medium temperature (55℃) and a unique patented "flow-through indirect heating" technology to produce hot water, a small amount of scale will be produced. However, ordinary electric water heaters heat water at 80-100℃, so scale easily forms, leading to reduced thermal efficiency, increased power consumption, reduced water pressure, and even safety hazards.

Temperature and Water Consumption
The optimal bath water temperature is 42℃. For middle-aged and elderly people, it can be slightly higher by 1-2℃. Approximately 40-50 liters of water are used per person for showering. The amount used for bathtubs and whirlpool bathtubs depends on their capacity.

How Much Hot Water Can Be Produced?
Theoretically, air source heat pump water heaters can continuously produce hot water. At room temperature, the hourly hot water production capacity (45℃-55℃) depends on the unit size.
