Installation instructions for stainless steel water tanks

a. Water Tank Foundation Requirements: The geometric dimensions of the concrete foundation should be formulated according to the relevant provisions of GB02S101. The height difference of the concrete foundation plane should be <5mm.

b. Installation, Construction, and Acceptance of Stainless Steel Water Tanks: Professional welders will perform on-site argon arc welding. A standard power supply is available at the construction site. There should be ≥500mm of maintenance space around the water tank. Visual inspection should show no rust or contamination; after filling with water for 2-3 hours, the tank body should show no obvious deformation, and the welds should show no leakage to be considered (qualified).

c. Use, Maintenance, and Care of Water Tanks: When piping, do not apply excessive loads to the inlet and outlet of the piping. Do not apply the weight of valves and large-diameter pipes directly to the water tank inlet; if necessary, install pipe supports. Expansion joints must be installed to accommodate the expansion, contraction, and vibration of welded pipes.

Stamped stainless steel plate welded water tanks are made by stamping reinforcing ribs from stainless steel plates and welding them integrally with stainless steel welding rods. They have a simple structure, good strength, and can be manufactured into water tanks with larger capacities. Because the tank is made of welded stainless steel plates, it blocks sunlight, preventing algae growth and keeping the water clean at all times.
